About Vietnam Beaches
CNN.com recently published an article about the best beaches in the world, and we are happy to report that two of Vietnam’s beaches made it on to the list! However, we feel that more than two of Vietnam’s beaches have world-class standing. With more than 3400 km of ocean coastline and remote islands galore, the list of beautiful beaches in this country could go on for a while.
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi at 6:10 pm, clear customs and immigration, and you will be met and transfer to Hanoi’s down town for hotel check in. Stay st hotel 4 stars.

Drive 180 km (~2.5 hours) through the picturesque countryside to Halong Bay. Along the way, see the farms and rice fields and villages of the Northeast. Visit an artisan a workshop and see workers creating traditional style Vietnamese ceramics. Upon arrival Halong city, embark on your boat, with a friendly captain and crew, to cruise the majestic Bay of Halong. Thrill to the sight of thousands of precipitous rock islands jutting out from the sea. Visit the amazing island caves. Swimming is magical in the crystal waters of the Ton Kin Gulf. Wake up early, enjoy sunrise on boat before having a simple breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, take a full day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Hochiminh cityby many locals. The tour starts with a visit to the Former Presidential Palace, History Museum, Central Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral. This afternoon, visit Thien Hau Pagoda, Chinatown and Ben Thanh market and a lacquer ware workshop. Drive to My Tho for a full day cruise on the mighty Mekong River, one of the longest river in the world. Explore the river’s islands and its canals in your own sampan, rowed by men and women living on the river. Meet the friendly local people making coconut candy in their workshop. Talking with young ladies whose sings and plays in a local musical performance while you enjoy luscious tropical fruits and home-made honey tea. Taste the amazing local Elephant Ear fish and giant shrimp at lunch in an orchard restaurant cooled by gentle river breezes. Road back to Hochiminh city for self paid dinner. Overnight hotel 4 star.

Afternoon drive 105km to Nha Trang, one of the most charming coastal towns in Vietnam with a seemingly endless white sandy beach and ocean blue water. Overnight in Nha Trang (Resort 4 star).
Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a half day boat trip visit fishing village, Tri Nguyen Aquarium & Mun island. Afternoon , a city tour to visit Ponagar Cham Towers, Oceanographic Institute & Long Son pagoda with giant Buddhist Statue on the hill top.

Breakfast ai the hotel , visit to Cao Dai Temple : The Great Holy See Temple, built in 1926, is considered one of the most striking structures in all of South-East Asia. It is the headquarters of the unique Cao Dai sect, a religion with a hybrid of Buddhism, Christianity & Confucianism. Above the entrance is the all-seeing holy eye – symbol of the sect. Visitors will attend the midday ceremony’s extravaganza to witness the daily mass held by the Cao Dai followers which is a fantastic experience. After lunch, proceed to Cu Chi -a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”. Visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food in war time). Return to Hochiminh city. Have dinner on the cruise.
